Top Apple Picking near Guelph
The weather is getting cooler, the leaves are turning and it is time to pick some apples. One of my families favourite things to do and here are our top three places to pick apples near Guelph.
Chudleigh's - http://www.chudleighs.com/
Chudleigh's entertainment farm is located just West of Toronto in Milton, and is one of many exceptional tourist destinations along the Niagara Escarpment. Down the road from the Milton farm is their 82,000 square foot bakery, that employs over 150 full time staff and services the grocery and food service industries in North America and beyond. They have a great Children's Area including climbing towers and slides, straw maze, farm animals petting zoo, wagon rides, and more! We love visiting Chudleighs – it is a little costly and the line ups can take a while to pay on your way out but it is a great apple picking experience.

Springridge Farm - http://www.springridgefarm.com/
Springridge has a Fun Farm Yard that is a safe, educational and fun area for families to explore and play. It includes wagon rides, farm animals, slides, sandbox, corn trails, a spiderweb climber, and more.
Springridge does not have any apple picking but lots of fall fun! For the fall they have a special fall festival.
Be sure to visit their farm market, bakery and gift shop while you're there! They even have the Boo barn which is a kid friendly “haunted house” – it’s done in black lighting with lots of fun things and not scary.
Andrew's Scenic Acres - http://www.andrewsscenicacres.com/
Andrew's Scenic Acres offers farm fresh fruits, vegetables and flowers. Along with their scenic view, they have a beautiful picnic area, a large creative playground, a farm animal corral and free hayrides. They offer a popular BBQ that operates during the summer, and weekends and holidays during the Spring and Fall. They also have a gently haunted forest, straw mountain jump and cornfield walk. A little bit off the beaten path I find it is not as busy as some of the other options.
Frootogo - http://www.frootogo.ca
Frootogo is a smaller location than some of the others, but still a great day for the family. There is a play place and corn maze. Lots of apples and pumpkins to pick. There are animals to see and lots of goodies to eat! Frootogo is a much more affordable option and a great place if you are looking to get some good apples!
All of these places are more than just apples and treats they provide a day of fun fall memories, enjoy your picking and I volunteer to try anyone's apple pies.
The Apple Orchard Inc - https://www.theappleorchard.ca/family-fun
I have not been to this one myself, but it is free during the weekends. They have wagon rides, hay jump, corn mazes, corn pit play area and more. They have both apple and pears you can pick too! It is family run and owned.
