Camp Highlight - Rainbow Day Camp

We are busy sharing with you some of our favourite camps in Guelph of course we need to highlight the Rainbow Day Camp.

Rainbow Day Camp is a place for everyone, it is a place for kids to play, make friends and enjoy their summer. Rainbow Day Camp is a camp that prides itself on inclusion and creating a safe space for everyone.

Rainbow offers a first-class summer day camp experience, providing children with memorable, best-loved camp activities in an active, inclusive and fun environment.

Each day kids will have the opportunity to swim, do crafts, play games and more. Located on the beautiful University of Guelph campus Rainbow Day Camp is a great opportunity to get kids outside, active and social.

What does it mean to be an inclusive camp? Rainbow invites children of all abilities to participate in all activities. They try support kids in anyway they can so everyone can enjoy the camp experience. It is a wonderful place for kids to learn empathy and understand what it is like for kids who need a different kind of support than they do.

Rainbow Day Camp is a recreational program and it is run by young adults who love being with children and who want to ensure everyone feels welcome at camp.

Rainbow has a special magic to it, when you ask a camper what their favourite part is of camp? They may answer swimming, special guests, meeting friends, playing games, singing songs, arts and crafts or more. If you ask parents what their favourite part of Rainbow is? They may answer how they know their child is being supported, how they know their child is keeping active and social and not in front of a screen, how their child comes how exhausted, but happy, how their child ask when they can go back.
