Summer Camp Spotlight - STEM camp
Like I promised we are high lighting yet another amazing summer camp that if offered in Guelph.
STEM Camp is a family operated Canadian not for profit based out of Woodstock, with 27 locations across Ontario and expanding each year.
Our philosophy is that children learn while they have fun and if they have fun while learning we have a chance to bridge the gap between students and the ‘real world’ through educational initiatives preparing them for a world where most employment opportunities will be in STEM careers.
At STEM Camp, we consult with and utilize experts who KNOW the subject matter that relates to our activities. Each week an exciting guest such as an astronomer, scientist, engineer or computer expert visits virtually or in person to talk about STEM and how it relates to their lives and to camp activities.
The STEM Camp mission is to inspire through hands-on activities in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.
Who is your camp geared to?
Children between the ages of 5-13 years old interested in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math
What is unique about your camp?
Campers participate in 15-20 hands-on experiments and activities each week. They have the opportunity to speak to experts on the topic and get the right answers to all their questions.
When and where does your camp take place?
We have 28 locations across Ontario. Our Guelph STEM Camp is being held at Conestoga College from July 4 - August 19
What do you think is the best part of your camp?
Campers have the opportunity to have fun while they learn!
