Fab in Five

Let me start by saying- I am not a makeup artist! I am an Independent Consultant with Arbonne and have learned this amazing look that was developed by a makeup artist. I am also a mom. My kids are 1 and 3 and my mornings can be pretty hectic! I have spent the last three years adapting to the changes that come with 2 kids 15 months apart and I kind of felt like I was losing myself between all the diaper changes, programs, meals and cleaning. I don’t have a lot of free time but anyone can find five minutes! I love how I feel when I take a few extra minutes for ME! I became a consultant because I fell in love with Arbonne’s products and felt safe using them on my family since they blend the safest of science with the purest of nature to produce fantastic, results-driven products. I hope this step-by-step guide gives you a few easy tips to walk out the door looking put together and feeling fabulous!

Step One:

Always start with a clean face. I love the RE9 Anti-Aging line and have noticed my skin looking brighter, smoother and more moisturized since I have started using this line of products.

Step Two:

Apply a CC Cream. The Arbonne Intelligence CC Cream comes in 4 different shades. A CC cream is going to be your BFF when you’re short on time because it is Complexion Control with 10 beauty benefits in 1 quick and easy step! A few things this multitasker will do is act as a primer, pore refiner, concealer and hydrator to give you flawless looking skin. It’s also super breathable- testing as naked skin after 10 minutes. I’m wearing Fair.

To apply- Put a small dot on the back of your hand. Dab on your cheeks, forehead, nose and chin. Blend with your fingers!

Tip: To ensure even coverage, use a powder brush in circular motions all over face to buff it out.

Step Three:

Apply a bronzer to give some definition to the contours of your face and a healthy glow. Our Glow On Bronzer is packed with Lavender, Licorice and Chamomile extracts to condition, soothe and hydrate the skin.

To apply- Using a powder brush, draw circular motions on the bronzer and tap excess powder off. Apply just under the cheekbones and then draw the number 3 on each side of your face. Start at the forehead swoop to under the cheekbones and then down across the jaw line.

Tip: If you haven’t used a bronzer, begin by using a small amount of powder to ensure a natural look. You can blend the bronzer with circular motions with a clean brush.

Step Four: The Eyes!

Apply two shades of eyeshadow to make your eyes pop! It’s All in the Eyes eyeshadow is formulated with antioxidant-containing botanicals. These high-pigment, long-lasting shadows do more than just look pretty! Fog/Sienna and Quartz/Truffle are gorgeous duos! I’m wearing Fog/Sienna.

To apply- Using the All Over Eye brush, sweep the first colour over entire lid from lash line to brow bone. Then use the Shading Brush to add the darker colour to the crease of your eye and bring it back to your outside lash line. Blend with a clean All Over Eye brush with soft, smooth strokes.

Tip: After putting the eyeshadow on the shading brush, drag one side across a clean towel. With the shadow side facing down, apply in the crease of your eye. Not sure what the crease is? Put the brush on your eyelid, between your eyeball and brow bone! Don’t worry about making it look perfect- you can blend it after!

Now apply the It’s a Fine Line pencil eye liner (optional). This eye liner won’t feather or bleed and glides across your lash line without tugging or pulling. I’m wearing Carbon.

Finish off your eyes with It’s a Long Story Mascara. High-performance lengthening mascara helps create the look of ultra-dramatic lashes with major longitude. Clinically tested and formulated to be water-resistant and longwearing.

To apply: Hold mascara wand at a 45 degree angle towards your nose (this will keep your lashes from pulling to the side). Start at the base of your lashes and slowly wiggle and move wand up.

Step Five: The Lips!

Reach for Glossed Over Lip Gloss to finish your look! Treat yourself to maximum lip shine with major softness. Plant extracts and peptides leave lips feeling quenched and intensely moisturized for a smooth-looking, plumped-up pucker. I love Hyacinth for a more vibrant shade and Calla for a softer look. I’m wearing Hyacinth.

To apply: Brush onto lips and press lips together.

Step Six:

Smile at that beauty in the mirror and go rock your day! You’ve got this, Mama!
